You can tell when something was written by AI. So can your audience. It's the rhythm — every sentence the same length, every paragraph wrapped in a neat little bow, words like "leverage" and "robust" and "delve" that no human says out loud.

The reason AI sounds like that is simple. It's trying to sound like good writing in general, not like you. It's averaging a million blog posts. And the average of everything is bland. It strips out the exact things that make people trust you — your phrasing, your shortcuts, the way you'd actually say it to a friend.

Here's what most people get wrong. They write the AI version, feel like something's off, and then spend 20 minutes hand-editing it back to sounding human. That's backwards. You can just tell it how you talk up front and have it write in your voice the first time.

Give me one clean version, then tell me what you changed and why.

The samples are everything. When you paste real things you've written, AI stops guessing what "human" sounds like and starts copying what you sound like. The "tell me what you changed and why" line is the sneaky-good part — it teaches you your own tells, so next time you catch the robot words before they ever go out.

This makes AI sound like you. It can't make you interesting if the underlying idea is flat. Voice is the delivery, not the substance. If the point is boring, a great voice just makes it boring in your accent. Bring the real take — let this handle the rhythm.
